New single out now: a Sufi-inspired ballad recorded live with a full orchestra
A soulful, Sufi-inspired ballad recorded live with a 24-piece orchestra — now streaming on every platform.
The new single from Farhan Ali is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and every major streaming platform worldwide.
Recorded in a single live take with a 24-piece orchestra, the track blends classical Sufi melodies with modern cinematic production. There were no overdubs on the lead vocal — what listeners hear is exactly what happened in the room.
Made in one night
The session took place over a single evening in a historic recording hall. The musicians rehearsed for three days beforehand, but the final version was the fourth take of the night.
"We wanted the imperfections. The breath before a high note, the strings settling after the last chord — that is where the emotion lives." — Farhan Ali
Music video coming soon
An accompanying music video, shot on location across three countries, will premiere on the official YouTube channel later this month. A stripped-back acoustic version is also planned for release before the end of the year.
Within its first 48 hours, the single entered the top viral charts in several countries and became one of the most requested songs at live events this season.
