Farhan Ali launches 'Midnight Acoustic Sessions' video series
A new monthly series of stripped-back performances filmed in candle-lit rooms around the world.
Farhan Ali has launched "Midnight Acoustic Sessions", a new monthly video series featuring stripped-back performances filmed in small, candle-lit spaces.
Each episode features one or two songs performed with just a guitar, a harmonium or a small string ensemble, recorded live with no editing on the vocals.
Episode one is live
The first episode, filmed in an old library, is now streaming on the official YouTube channel. Upcoming episodes will be recorded in a rooftop garden, a lakeside house and a historic mosque courtyard.
"These are the songs the way they were first written — late at night, with one instrument and no audience." — Farhan Ali
The acoustic format is also available for private events, including intimate dinners, anniversary celebrations and Sufi nights.
